Ogura and Chantra score a brilliant result at Misano

An exciting Moto2 race today in Misano! At the start, our riders were in the middle of the grid. They managed to survive the first two or three laps, but at the same time, they lost much time fighting there, around six seconds in five laps. Their great pace allowed them to catch up with their rivals to finish 5th and 6th. Considering the grid position, they did a brilliant race. I want to thank all the staff, all the team, for the job they have done. The next race is on a new track in India. That could be good for us to keep this momentum.

At the beginning of the race, I did the first laps at the same position I started, but I managed to finish fifth. My pace was fast and consistent, even if, in some parts, I wasn’t as fast as I needed. We need to analyze why.
We’re looking forward to riding on a new track in India.

What a difficult race! Starting from P11, I needed to fight hard on the first laps to lose the minimum time with the leader. With these hot conditions, managing the front and rear tires was challenging. But I’m happy with this result in Misano, a circuit where I historically struggled. See you in India!!
