Ogura returns to the podium after an electrifying race at Assen

After an intense head-to-head battle with Dixon, Ai finished in a unique second position, completing his best weekend of the season.

For his part, Chantra was also having a brilliant race in the leading group but suffered a crash with no consequences, ending a streak of seven races scoring points.

A very long Moto2 race, with a condition that seemed more slippery than yesterday. But the pace of the race was fast. Chantra and Ogura did a good start, being in the group of riders who fought for the podium. On lap 11, Chantra tried to catch the guys in front, making a small mistake and crashing. That's part of the races. The good thing is that he's uninjured. It's a pity to be unable to fight for the podium. Ogura managed to fight for the victory, finishing second. He rode well, coming back to his speed. I want to thank the effort of the riders and staff. We must keep improving the potential for the next races.

I have mixed feelings because the victory was there. Today Jake was too fast for me, and I only want to congratulate him. I was riding my pace, but I think Dixon had a little more. It was essential to come back to the podium again after a difficult start of the season. Getting the first podium of the year before the summer break is also crucial. Mentally is very important. This podium is very special to me. I want to thank my team, that pushed me up.

I started well, and I rode with the front group until mid-race. But when I tried to continue overtaking my rivals, I crashed in turn 1. There are better ways to finish this first part of the season after scoring points for seven races in a row. But during his summer break, I will train hard to return stronger.
