Ogura is back

Ogura is having a sensational weekend in Assen. In FP3, he broke the track record; in Q2, he finished third, with a lap pace that will allow him to fight for tomorrow's victory. For his part, Chantra is also riding at a high level, starting tomorrow from seventh position, with clear options to fight for a podium place.

Despite hot and slippery conditions, Ai and Somkiat have managed today to be faster, improving their lap times. And most important, they did it not only in one lap but also constantly. That is a good and positive detail, thinking about the race. The position on the grid is ideal. But we should be focused.

To be back in the front again is crucial for me. This weekend I'm riding fast and constantly. We have improved the lap time in almost every session. I think I have the pace to fight for tomorrow's race, so I need to concentrate on myself.
We're on the way to be in front again. The team is doing well, and my wrist isn't a problem. The main change compared to other weekends is on my side. Something was always missing. But here, since Friday, I have felt good. I don't have any plans for tomorrow; It's the first time I'm in front this year. What I want to do is to do my race; it's what I can do now

I started the day quite well because, in FP3, I maintained my position in Q2. I tried to be fast and constant, finishing in a good P7. From there, I will try to enjoy the race with the podium as a goal. That could be amazing before the summer break.
