Chantra is confident as Ogura continues to suffer

Somkiat continues to show great speed in all sessions and will be a clear contender for podium positions tomorrow. Ai will start from the middle of the grid, but he is confident he can solve his grip problems and have a good race.

The track condition in FP3 was initially a bit tricky, and when dry, both riders showed good speed, especially Chantra, who got P1 in the morning. In Q2, he remained constant and fast; despite losing a little time in sector 1, the rest was good, finishing in P7. Ogura continues struggling with the feeling. He was more constant than yesterday and this morning. He’s making steps ahead; this is important. Tomorrow, we like to fight for the podium.

This morning, we started the practice 20 minutes late because some parts of the track were wet. When it began to dry, we went on the way with slick tires to check some changes on the bike. I felt the bike very well, finishing first. In Q2, I tried to continue improving my lap time. Tomorrow, I want to be on the podium as last year.

It’s a difficult moment. I did a step ahead from yesterday, but unfortunately, in the morning, we couldn’t check the setup that we changed because the track conditions didn’t allow it. Finally, we checked it in Q2, but it wasn’t a big solution. I continue struggling in some parts of the track. I hope we will improve tomorrow, and we will see what happens in the race.
