Asia Talent Team score points in penultimate JuniorGP round at Aragon

MotorLand-Aragón hosted the seventh and penultimate round of the FIM JuniorGP season this weekend. Asia Talent Team riders Fadillah Arbi Aditama and Tatchakorn Buasri finished 11th and 12th, respectively, in the only race for the class.
Aditama had his best weekend of the season. Starting 29th after incurring a penalty during qualifying, the Indonesian climbed 18 places to get his best result of his rookie season in the European championship. He imposed a fast pace and crossed the finish line just ahead of his teammate, in 11th.
Buasri started 12th on the grid and moved into the Top 10 during the opening laps. However, the Thai rider, who had suffered two crashes in QP, was unable to keep up with the front group, and was relegated to twelfth by the time the chequered flag fell.
Buasri is 8th in the overall standings, with 77 points, while Aditama is 22nd with 10 points.
The last round of the FIM JuniorGP season will take place in three weeks' time at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where the Asia Talent Team riders will compete in two races.

The weekend has been very positive. Friday went well, but during qualifying I felt even better on the bike. It was a shame about the penalty, but luckily in the race, with the same setup as on Saturday and in the warm-up, I was able to show my good pace. The team worked very well, and I felt very confident at all times, progressing steadily to get my best result of the year.

It has been a difficult weekend. Last week we had a test here, but the conditions were totally different, with a lot of wind and no sun. Yesterday I tried to give my all to get a good starting position, but I crashed and going into today's race, I lacked a bit of confidence on the bike, because I didn't want to make the same mistakes as yesterday. It's time to learn and improve in Valencia.
