A complicated Moto3 qualifying session today, with many riders waiting on track. Our riders tried their best, but the traffic prevented them from showing their real potential in qualifying. We hope they can do their best tomorrow, trying to gain positions in a long race.

Today, we made some changes to the setup during the FP3, but it didn’t work correctly. We decided to go back to the setup of the FP2, and I felt well in Q1, winning a place in Q2. There, I pushed again, but it was windier than in Q1, and it was more difficult for me to be fast. The lap time isn’t what we expected, but the grid position is positive thinking on the race.

I felt fast this morning because I was riding close to the same lap time as my best of yesterday. That was a good sign. In my second exit, I increased my pace again, but the traffic prevented me from improving. That was a shame because I couldn’t show my real potential. My feeling on the bike and the data shows that my riding always increases. My team and I are optimistic about the race.

The day has been complicated for me because we have been working to find a good setup to improve the grip, but we couldn’t find it. In Q1, I tried to push following the group but couldn’t. I hope to find this setup to do a good race tomorrow.
