Taiyo adapted perfectly to the changing track conditions in an official practice session that had been delayed due to a heavy rainstorm. When the track was dry in the morning, he was already fourth. As for Mario Aji, a mistake in the last two corners on his best qualifying lap left him out of Q2, and he will start from 24th on the grid tomorrow.

Today, we found a mixed weather condition; in Q1, it was dry, and Mario showed a significant improvement. We were happy to see his positive riding, but he made a little mistake in the last two corners in the end, so that he couldn’t manage a perfect lap. Just as Q1 ended, heavy rain started to fall, which meant that Q2 was a wet Q2. Without experience in wet conditions on this track, Furusato picked up his lap time from the beginning of the session, managing to be P8. That’s a good grid position. I have a good feeling for tomorrow.

I’m happy about my results today after being P4 in the morning and P8 in Q2. In FP3, I felt good about the race tire, and the result was what we expected. Unfortunately, it started to rain before the qualifying, but the result wasn’t bad. We need to keep that feeling for tomorrow.

Today wasn’t the best day for me. In Q1, I did a good lap but made a mistake on the last two corners. I had a chance to pass to the Q2, but my ambition in the final lap made me make a mistake. The positive is that I have confidence in the bike for tomorrow’s race. It’s a shame the grid position, but this is what this is. I will try to stay with the group tomorrow, and we will see.
